EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), which since January 2019 has been working to encourage positive changes in the way people move around cities in order to make them more liveable places.
The Urban Mobility RIS Hub in Greece acts as the “interaction point” between EIT Urban Mobility and the dynamically evolved existing innovation ecosystem in the country. It has been established in order to connect EIT Urban Mobility with the local urban mobility ecosystem and to integrate the extended Knowledge Triangle (industry, academia, research and cities) in Greece. It will act as the contact point for knowledge sharing and brokerage at national level.

The Hub works to become a reference point for those innovation organizations seeking to expand their activities, competencies and capabilities, and partner-up with pioneering organizations in the mobility field. Overall, the aim of the EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Greece is to enhance behavioral changes and improve the quality of urban living towards creating more liveable urban spaces.
